Our History

Laser Web, the leader in Laser Tag for children and parents, opened its Cincinnati facility in April 1999.

The founders of the company are Jerry and Ingrid Weber. The history of the origin of Laser Web is a long story, but the favorite line is “One night Jerry was struck by lightning, went insane, and the next day he decided to build a laser tag facility.” In reality, Jerry looked at various business opportunities for two years before choosing Laser Web. The reason for choosing laser tag is that it met the requirements Jerry was searching for: it is high tech, it has a lot of people contact, and this was something that could create fun memories for kids of all ages. In 2002, the next phase of expansion took place when Q-Zar in Dayton was purchased along with Adventure Golf.

As Laser Web approached its tenth year, Jerry looked at Cincinnati and realized there was a need for a new type of entertainment facility. What everyone wanted was one place where you could have lots of choices for different options for fun and some good food, all under one roof. Hence the advent of THE WEB Extreme Entertainment.

As of July 16th, 2018, the tradition will continue with new ownership. THE WEB is now being lovingly owned and operated by Tarun and Falguni Raval. They will continue to serve the Cincinnati families and groups with the same great customer service you have come to expect from THE WEB.
